treece1Chuck "Chuck" Treece is a session musician and professional skateboarder from Philadelphia Pennsylvania. His credits include starting the 1980s skate punk band McRad, remixing songs for Amy Grant and Sting, playing the bass line on "The River of Dreams" by Billy Joel, filling in on drums at a Pearl Jam concert, and touring with Urge Overkill and Bad Brains. In 2010, he was awarded a Pew Fellowships in the Arts.

Life

Treece grew up in Newark, Delaware, where he attended John Dickinson High School, but moved to Philadelphia in 1982. [2] Between 1982 and 1990, he was a professional skater with endorsements by several companies, including Santa Cruz Skateboards, Powell-Peralta, and Airwalk sneakers.[3] Treece released two albums with his band McRad, Absence of Sanity in the 1980s (rereleased 2001) and FDR in 2007. He also played guitar with New York Hardcore band Underdog and recorded on their 1989 LP "Vanishing Point". In 1991, he also released a solo album on Caroline Records titled Dream'n. Most recently, Treece joined producer Chris DiBeneditto at Philadelphonic Studios to record the drum tracks for The Movement's 2008 rock/reggae album Set Sail. Treece continues to skate at FDR Skatepark in Philadelphia and works closely with legendary producer Joe "The Butcher" Nicolo, David Ivory & others.

Lawrence Schmidt

Lawrence Schmidt is a professional musician, actor, performer & small business entrepreneur born and raised in Cherry Hill, NJ. His credits include starting the 1990s NJ hardcore band (Fillament) at the age of 14 as the singer / songwriter of the group. Schmidt was the executive producer of the Philadelphia rock / reggae group The Smiles Project.

Professional studio career includes mixing & engineering credits on tracks for world wide movies and recording artist including: Philadelphia music legend Chuck Treece, MTV's reality star Bam Margera, Ricky Rude, Jay D Clark, & Grammy award winning David Ivory as well as many others in the entertainment industry.

Being a multi talented musician, playing drums, guitar & bass as well as being a professional studio engineer for Sand & Sun / Pep soul Entertainment Group from 2005-2008, Schmidt was awarded the "Disc Makers Gold Studio Partner Award" for his contributions in the music & entertainment industry.  He also was featured in the Cherry Hill NJ local newspaper (The Courier Post) as one of the 35 most successful people under the age of 35 in the state of New Jersey. He received this award at the age of 24 and also owns and operates several successful businesses both inside and outside the music industry.

Schmidt has spent countless hours, days and nights perfecting his skills and talents; dedicated to reach perfection and excellence at whatever project or endeavor he is involved in. "I give it my all, 110% no matter what the task at hand"

In 2009 Schmidt moved to the west coast to start another small business venture and to pursue extended experience in acting and live theater. His journey in Las Vegas NV began in the fall of 2008.  Within 1 year, Schmidt had worked as an Actor / Live Performer in multiple headline shows at Planet Hollywood Hotel and Casino on the Las Vegas Strip.

His onstage acting appearances included the headline shows:

Steve Wyrick "Real Magic" and Trent Carlini "Elvolution" at Planet Hollywood.

He also helped with the production of multiple Las Vegas shows including "Rock Star the Tribute", "Andrew Dice Clay's"comedy tour and & Michael Flatly's 'Lord of the Dance."

While working in Las Vegas, Schmidt also took part in the filming and production of the upcoming 2010 Ford Mustang Spell Binder TV commercial and was invited by Vegas Magician Steve Wyrick to join him filming a huge illusion at Warner Bros studios on the Ellen Degeneres Show in Burbank California.

In February 2016, Schmidt Teamed up with Professional Musician Chuck Treece and finalized the mixing and mastering for the latest project titled "Electric Marvin "Mars Travel" record showcasing Chucks vision in music production and the love for sound.  The Cd is now available worldwide via online media outlets.
